My name's Harry Potter and I attended Hogwarts when I was young.
I love riding on brooms and going swish! in the midair. Life has always been a huge roller coaster ride for me and now I'm really getting tired of it. I just wanna put everything down and let go.

Hobey! Welcome back to my blog, faithful readers... Anyways, today I want to share with you guys about the choir practice I had in school just now. It is Saturday, and the Secondary Ones are here! Turns out although there are still quite a number of sec 1s, there are still some missing, but I shall not say too much, as they were as I was last year when I first joined choir. They do not  understand and fully grasp the stakes yet, but we can't blame them. Anyways, I've just got over the change of calling myself a secondary two, as before this, about last week, I still feel a little perked up and alert whenever the sec 1s are addressed. But no worries, because I've gotten over that.
Now, these 'angelic' sec1s come in, naive and innocent looking, it really makes me think of how I was last year.  Not that I was naive or innocent looking, but instances like this does bring back great memories. Now I wish I had fully appreciated my secondary 1 life and the great many opportunities presented to me. To think of that, it really makes me wonder what wonderful luck has shone upon me.
Let's just recapitulate. Last year, when I first joined choir, everything was about our oncoming concert, Rhapsody. We as sec 1s put Rhapsody as a very important event and thought that it was probably the most important task ever. when that was achieved, there came Taiwan trip, Orientale Concentus. That was a competition held in Taiwan. I went on the first ever trip overseas without my parents. It was one of the most exciting trips I have ever had and I enjoyed thoroughly. We got gold. After that, the inaugural Youth Olympic Games held in Singapore. Let me tell you. We sang the National Anthem and sung it well. But above all that, the sheer pride of standing there on stage singing in front of the world's live broadcast, that is certainly something worthwhile. These three events all happened in my secondary 1 life, just because I decided to write the word 'choir' on my CCA option form. These three events were the three most important undertakings in my life. Besides those there were still minor events like VS Open House, Sec 1 orientation day, stuff like that.
Let's face it. Not all sec 1s get to enjoy this kind of sec 1 life. I'm glad I made good use of it. Just now, as I stood in Soprano section, looking at the newly arrived secondary 1s, I felt a sense of pride as a senior. I'm not boasting or anything, but I felt that after all I had gone through in sec 1, the struggle to balance CCA and school work, I was able to make it this far. I was happy. As I looked at the faces of the sec 1s as they struggled to follow the vast and sometimes complicated series of warm ups, I thought of myself last year, remembering that I had used to wonder how the senior standing beside me could project so much, blast so loud, yet still be able to keep pitching properly. Thus I set my target to one day reach that standard. I am more or less there, I guess... Oh great, now I'm getting all sentimental with all this nostalgia, so I shall maintain my composure, and look towards the future.
However, I shall still keep that small part of sentimentality and nostalgia and memories tucked in the back of my mind, never to be forgotten, never, ever, to be touched, forever and always, because this is the way it was meant to be.
    And so we go.
Forever and always,
Shawn Ho.
